National Graves' Disease Foundation

National. 32 affiliated groups in 25 states. Founded 1990. Aim is to establish patient-based Graves exclusive support groups to provide better treatment and to increase public awareness. Participates in research. Newsletter, information and referrals, phone support, national conferences, internet bulletin board and weekly online chatroom. Each group has medical back-up/resource. Guidelines available to assist in starting a similar group.
